Office Moving Made Easy
Getting ready to move an entire office can be a difficult task.
As the office manager, you are likely in charge of coordinating
all efforts to pack the current space, prepare the new space,

area, but choosing the right one can be a time-consuming task.
Sometimes the process of finding a mover can become so tedious
that other essential moving tasks slip through the cracks. Take
a few moments to make a checklist of the things you need to

going so that they can start planning changes to their daily routines, and
they’re going to want to know where they’ll be situated within the new
building. This knowledge will give them a sense of calm, as they won’t feel
like their futures are up in the air.

going to give copies to your employees before the actual move. Your
furniture movers will need copies
as well so that they can locate specific offices and cubicles when it comes
time to drop off office supplies. Come up with a color coding system and
label all of the furniture items and boxes so that you can differentiate
between items that need to go to different floors or offices.
Let your employees participate in the process as
movers and packers. Let them pack their own desks and department
files. They’ll be comfortable in the knowledge that they took care of their
personal belongings and they’ll be more excited about the move because they
were able to participate and contribute. Make sure each employee has a
colored code or number to place on all of his or her boxes so that they can
be easily identified and are waiting at his desk after the move is complete.
